Summary: 我的老师(Wo de Laoshi) is a book with 4 short stories about teachers. The first story involves a mother struggling to both look after her two kids and also teach her students. When she is forced to work overtime almost everyday, the kids (also without their father because he’s on a business trip) get into trouble either by getting lost or by running in front of bikers. The dad questions the mothers devotion to her students instead of to her own children. In the end, the father resolves to spend more time with the kids so the mom can spend more time fulfilling her influential job as a teacher.
